Job Description
Key areas of Focus
Partner with theFinanceplanning teams tofacilitatecontinuous improvement efforts towards theplanning,forecastingand long-range plan.
Partner withproject team and supervise consultants withrequirementsgathering,technical design, development, User acceptance testing, and cutoverof an enterprise planning solution.
Take responsibilityofroot cause analysisand process improvement.Requiresstrongunderstanding of thefinancialplanning andconsolidation processesas well asrequirements for management reporting.
Design, develop and troubleshoot load rules, BusinessRules,and Calculation Scripts.
Continuously and proactively improve the environment to enrich experience bycontributing totraining documentation and support forend users.
Develop,maintain,and improve documentation on key business processes and procedures in compliance with Internal control policies
Promote and develop automation of processes with current and future application flows.Send downstream system monthly corporate adjustment files for tie to final monthly, quarterly consolidation.
Facilitate integration ofSAP BPC planning, including sourcing actuals,reconcilingand data analytics.
Partner with BTS to installtechnical patches,upgrades,and system/application migrations.
Responsible for Leadership communication and update to Steering committee onmonthlybasis.
Act asBPCsubject matter expert for the entire organizationby recommending and seeking out fellow BPC SME for common resolution and best practice recommendations for the enterprise.
Qualifications
Requires 7-10 years progressive accounting or finance experience
Bachelors degree in computer science, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
StrongexpertiseinFinance for a large pharmaceutical company isrequired.
Located in Lake County, Illinois area with ability to work in office 3-5 days a week depending on deadlines.
Experience in architecting,building,and supportingfinancialplanning applications.
Experience with administration and/or implementation of SAP BPCrequired.
Strong Analytical and technical skills to continuously improveprocesses.
Understanding /Acumen of Finance with strong knowledge in planning, forecasting, accounting closeprocess.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels
Ability to understand the needs of the various business teams to appropriately plan for growth and change
Excellentproblem-solvingskills, including innovative and creative solutions
Ability to work independently and be goal oriented, as well as work as part of a team
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
