As a Material Planner, your jobis to ensureconsistentsupply of existing and new materials to support the operations of the production and lab value streams.
This role willprovideYOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Maintain updates of key SAP material planning data to bestutilizeour planning systemand responsiblefor ensuring purchase orders are placed on time andmonitoredto maintainappropriate inventorylevels
Execute and improve standard process around material expiry, re-evaluation, cycle counting
Support improvements to execution of site key business process within the scope of raw materials – such as financial budgeting, forecasting,expiryand site impact assessments for new products
Collaboration with site scheduling, warehouse,qualityand QC to resolve issues and implement process improvements around raw materials to drive time and cost savings
Establish and maintain KPIs utilizing supply chain best practices tomonitorplants raw material inventory and supplier performance
Identifypotential raw material supply risksimpactingthe ability tomaintainthe production schedule, inventory targets, or supply chain policies. Takeappropriate actionsto resolve issues by collaboratingcross functionally.
Trouble-shoot SAP related issues and/or develop as an SAP Super user
Implement recommendations from global procurement to align with sourcing strategies, drivecostand inventory savings, while ensuring alignment with technical and quality requirements
Develop relationships with suppliers including providing vendor forecasts
Execute vendor change notifications and change controls related to materials including alternative sources

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
BA/BS degree
1+years’ experience of related manufacturing experience in a Supply Chain, Technical, Material Planning, Production or Lab related role
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
3+years of related manufacturing experience in a Supply Chain, Technical, Material Planning, Production, or Lab Supervision-related role
Project Management and change control ownership experience
Financial acumen, problem solving, negotiating, and presentation skills
Proficiencywith internal computer systems, including the SAP system and Excel
APICS certification or equivalent or willingness to become certified
Written and oral communications skills with particular attention to detail
Proficient in the SAP Production Planning Systeminraw material planning and/or MRP buying and planning knowledge in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work effectively on cross functional teams including leading problem solving and clearly communicating escalations
